Capsule Wardrobe // February Summary
Hi Everyone! The end of February is nearly here which means it's time for my last monthly capsule wardrobe summary for winter! In fact, this is my last capsule wardrobe summary, period. In case you missed Friday's update, I'll be embarking on a new wardrobe journey I'm calling a "Simple Wardrobe" starting March 1. While I likely won't be posting any monthly summaries moving forward, I plan to post outfits here and there and share my successes and failures along the way. :)

Black on black on black. Wearing black from head to toe isn't exactly common for me, but I really like the way this outfit turned out. I kept things super simple with only a pair of pearl earrings, but you could really step it up with a bold necklace or patterned tights.

Believe it or not, every single piece of this outfit made it into my Least Favorite list. Why? Fit and comfort. Each piece would be fine if I was still living in a sea of clothes, but I need pieces that are much more versatile moving forward. All of the pieces together every once in a while, though? I think this outfit is pretty great for the office.

There's nothing like throwing a bunch of neutrals together to see what you can come up with. A version of this outfit has been worn to the office nearly every week. It's comfy, warm, and versatile. Neutrals for the win!

A fun belt worn over a sweater can give pieces in your wardrobe a whole new look. Here, the belt helps to emphasize the waist so I don't look like a giant sack. :) The tall boots are great for hiding a warm pair of socks and keeping me toasty.

It's all about layers when it's so chilly outside. I love that this gray sweater is soft and lightweight, so I can easily pair it under a structured jacket. Add in a warm scarf, and you're good to go. Oh, and yes. I did just wear black and navy together. I like it!
